Dortmund Airport (DTM)
Airport Information

(Dortmund, Germany)

An important and much-used gateway into Germany's North Rhine / Westphalia region, Dortmund Airport '21' (DTM) is close to the city itself and its suburbs of Aplerbeck, Brackel, Massener, Unna and Wickede. Well over 1.2 million passengers pass through the Dortmund Airport annually, on their way to more than 45 destinations, using airlines such as Air Berlin, easyJet, Germanwings, Sterling and Wizz Air.

The facility itself is home to just one terminal, Terminal A, which services all domestic and international flights. There are three levels at the Dortmund Airport - the ground floor is used for arrivals and Level 1 is for departures, while Level 2 is called the 'Gallery' and is where many of the main passengers facilities are to be found.

The airport is located near the A40 and the A44 motorways, just 9 km / 6 miles from Dortmund. To get to Dortmund or the other surrounding cities, travellers can take a bus, taxi or shuttle bus. A railway station and an underground train station are also situated nearby, with 'Rail and Fly' tickets being extremely popular.

Well-known car rental companies such as Avis, Hertz and Europcar are represented in the Arrivals Hall, situated on the ground floor, while car parking facilities are well catered for at Dortmund Airport, with six car parks available and over 3,600 spaces in total and free parking for 20 minutes.
